Video/audio not synced - jata02 - 2013-11-24
I am running xbmc 12.2 frodo on a windows 7 box.
The basic specs are
CPU- Intel Core 2 duo E8400 3.00GHZ
4GB RAM
Business class Video card (Intel Q33 Express chipset)
The video files are all pulled from a NAS. I am pretty new to XBMC and so far I am in love. the problem I am running into is some movies play very choppy and/or have their video and audio out of sync. This only happens when playing them via XBMC, if I quit XBMC and just play the file in VLC player they play fine.
As a test I plugged in my main pc which is about 1 year old and built for gaming (16gb ram/I5 CPU/gtx 660ti video/SSD) and it ran everything w/o a hitch through XBMC.
My initial thought is with xbmc running my video card isn't enough to keep up with some of the movies. Am I on the right track? I didn't think a xbmc box required a higher end pc.
