would removing unused code from a skin make the skin faster? say for example a skin has 10 views but i only ever use 5 of the views over my entire xbmc setup, would removing this code and textures make the skin faster. I converted a 1080p skin to 720p, after being told it wouldn't make much difference, but in reality it made a huge difference in the menus. im running xbmc on a rpi, so each tiny gain is helping quiet a lot. So does anyone have any insight into this?

I get lower CPU usage with Amber (1080) on rpi than Confluence (720) but not much difference between them.
