Frodo will never have the fast channel change patch. It's not even in Gotham.
I'm still suspicious that the fast channel change patch in Gotham doesn't cause some issues (e.g. the black screen on channel change).

@rbej
Have you removed fast channel change patch from Frodo build? It definitely will break it.
It that patch is removed can you back out any other live tv patches? Your Frodo build shouldn't be worse than OE 3.1.7.

Ok , can't really remeber which Gotham build that had the fastest Channel change without black screen issues but it had 1-2 sec less channel change time then OE 3.1.7 and the other Gotham stock build posted earlier ( not rbejs)

I can go back and test them again to find out if you want ?

OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - kreeturez - 2013-09-07

Very happy with latest Frodo rbej build (04/09/13) so far.

No issues with Live TV (live or recordings) with MediaPortal 1.4 my side; except channel-changing stops playback (been like this for a while; don't really mind). Pretty fast, too.

DRC also working great! Didn't realize how much I wanted it until I had it :-) This certainly belongs in the Official builds.

Thanks guys!

I found a different between lastest build from frodo and gotham:

In Frodo, minutes jump forward or rewind is very slow and in gotham it is fast!

File looks okay. Can you upload it (or a sample of it that shows the problem) and give me a link.

Here is a link for a file that give me the same problem:

This file, instead, gives me any problem:

Where is the difference?
Thanks

This is official build with:

https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/3211

https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/3212

Some of this patch must "destroy" Live TV.

I can't think of a reason - can you produce a build with each one disabled to confirm which one it is?

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - rbej - 2013-09-08

Yes but please created https://github.com/popcornmix/xbmc/commits/frodo_rbp_backports v2 without this patches.
