Open files in external player? - namroN - 2014-03-04
Hi,
I relly like using Ember to organize my movies and TV shows. But I don't use XBMC to watch them, instead I just play them locally on my pc, whrere they also are stored. SO what I'm looking for is the possibility to just open a selected movie/episode in an external player, which I can define, most likely by simple double-clicking.
Is there such a thing already implemented and I just didn't find it, or doesn't ember offer this functionality? If so, would it be possible to implement it in a future release?

Open up the info pane on lower right hand and hit the play button, the movie/episode is now played in your default player

Nice, just didn't see it.
But would be even cooler if it checked the film/episode as watched automatically when playing it that way.
