The Movie Database - Unable to connect to remote server - ztrel0ck - 2014-03-20 Dear All, This has been bugging me for a while now: Any time I try to update the library with TMDB add-on I'm getting the "Unable to connect". Have tried 3 devices - QNAP's HD Station (XBMC 11); Pivos Xios on Linux - the most up to date version; Macbook pro - Frodo. Below is the log from the Macbook: Code: 08:57:32 T:2953318400 DEBUG: FindMovie: Searching for '28 Days Later' using The Movie Database scraper (path: '/Users/ztrel0ck/Library/Application Support/XBMC/addons/metadata.themoviedb.org', content: 'movies', version: '3.7.7') Universal scrapper somehow works when set to imdb only. Would really appreciate any help! RE: The Movie Database - Unable to connect to remote server - helloterence - 2014-04-03 I am having the same issue. I have since switched to use Universal Scraper, however, every time auto updates runs, it continues to use The Movie Database and the problem persists. RE: The Movie Database - Unable to connect to remote server - dougm68 - 2014-07-19 I have the same issue. Upgraded to latest firmware of the Qnap TS 870 Pro doesn't fix it. There is no way to view the advanced file config from Qnap from what I can tell. I guess this will have to be fixed by Qnap. |
