BSOD while using XBMC - JPCRacing24 - 2014-06-13

I have been having a very odd issue with my newly built HTPC. When running Gotham 13.1 and watching a movie or tv show my computer will suddenly BSOD on me. When I first built the pc it lived in my entertainment center and was running the latest version of Frodo. I never had any issues with Blue Screens. But when I noticed that the computer was running way too hot (40-60 degrees idle) I decided to move it up on top of the entertainment center. I got a lot better temperatures and I went ahead and upgraded XBMC to Gotham 13.1. All of a sudden I am having issues.

All of my video files are .mkv's stored on the WD Green Drive
I am running Windows 8.1 Pro and I have all notifications turned off (Facebook, etc) and my wifi and bluetooth are disabled since I use ethernet.
I have updated all of my drivers of the motherboard and graphics card
The only thing that changed on the PC in the move to the top of the EC was I tried to clean up my cable management.
I leave the computer on all the time since it is so quiet and temps stay at 20-30 degrees idle. I can stream all the videos I want outside of XBMC using Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and YouTube. And I have had several 2-4 hour gaming sessions with Bioshock Infinite/Skyrim with no BSOD issues. Only in XBMC.

Here is my build log:

I have been having similar BSODs while playing videos in XBMC 13.1 Gotham.

Intel Core2Duo
2 GB DDR2
Win 7 Ultimate

Videos streaming off my Thecus N2200+ NAS

Well I started googling the different errors that BSOD is telling me and everysingle one of them point to the RAM being bad. Is this normal to buy brand new RAM, it work great out of the box then all of a sudden 2-3 months down the road one or both sticks start having issues?

I would think Corsair Vengance would better RAM than that, especially with a lifetime warranty.

What is the best way to test it? I have tried Window's memory test, but when the system boots back up no message appears to tell me what the results were.

Take out one memory stick and see what happens. If you get same error swap sticks and test again
