How can I get XBMC to use winlirc for ir blasting? - halogamer2145 - 2014-11-05 I have to decode the functions of my receivers remote using winlirc and a receiver first and save it to a config. I need XBMC to send commands to the receiver when I want to switch the channel. I know you can control XBMC with winlirc, but is there a way that I could blast ir signals when I input a command into XBMC or if a recording is scheduled have XBMC switch to the appropriate channel through ir? Winlirc has a command line application in which you can execute recorded commands, so idk if that could be used with XBMC. RE: How can I get XBMC to use winlirc for ir blasting? - nickr - 2014-11-06 It is the function of the PVR backend to change channels, not XBMC. |
