Cannot set content on Kodi 14.0 - Alexandro - 2015-01-01

Hello,
I have a problem setting the content on Kodi. Hope someone helps.
As soon as I set content of a video source, Kodi asks me If I want to refresh the info. I chose "yes" and nothing happens. When I go back and try to set a content, the previous content type I set was not stored...
No problems with Kodi 13.

You should include a link to a debug log (wiki) of this action.

Sorry, forgot about the log.
Here is the fresh uploaded log

To be assured that the issue is not related only to OSX I compiled a version under linux. The same problem. Also gave a try on the latest Openelec build- the result was the same.
I rolled back to 13.2- everything works as it should.
Obviously something is broken, but no help from the devs until this moment.

well, this sucks. I can install the KODI app on mac OS X 10.10.1 (macbook air late 2013) but it hangs up trying to install any sources. What's up with that?

Strange as I swear the © key has been working on my Kodi setup using the keyboard:

to the OP, I suspect you are using a skin that has not been updated to work properly on Helix - Kodi.

This Kodi version definitely works on my Yosemite / iMac:

For all those having Kodi upgrade issues, its likely some add-ons are incompatible and causing crashes.
Do this (you will have to reconfigure Kodi as a virgin install):

OSX > Finder > Go > Go to Folder > ~/Library/Application Support

Rename the Kodi folder and the XBMC folder also, otherwise you get Kodi migrating your XBMC stuff again upon restart.

@Alexandro There was a problem with your Mysql setup when the upgrade to Kodi was done, so you are no stuck in an "upgrade" loop.
Try to erase the "MyVideos90" db from your mysql setup and retry.

Dear Koying,
Thank you for your reply.
I suspected there may be an issue with the mysql. Deleted the whole structure in mysql and tried to rescrap locally (without Mysql). Unfortunately the behavior of the content remained the same.

RE: Cannot set content on Kodi 14.0 - Koying - 2015-01-02

Please attach a log of you local test.

RE: Cannot set content on Kodi 14.0 - Alexandro - 2015-01-02

My fault....I was just about to create the log while I saw that with no input in the advancedsettings.xml pointing to a SQL database, the set content was accepted and the engine started to scrap.
Then rolled back the old xml file pointing to the SQL. Same story.
Does it mean Kodi will not work with MySQL databases?
I even think about deleting the whole database and start fresh, but until confirmation that this will work I am hesitant to ruin the perfect working database for Kodi 13.2

RE: Cannot set content on Kodi 14.0 - Koying - 2015-01-02

Gee... LOG PLEASE

RE: Cannot set content on Kodi 14.0 - Alexandro - 2015-01-02

Sorry again.
Here is the log

Right after I put the information to the advancesettings.xml (pointing to the mysql database), Kodi just quits.

RE: Cannot set content on Kodi 14.0 - Koying - 2015-01-02

*shrugs*
Why posting the log on a site you have to register to download...

RE: Cannot set content on Kodi 14.0 - Alexandro - 2015-01-02

You do not have to register. The file may be open via a browser.
I just cant upload a log directly via KODI "upload-log-plugin" as it is shutting down as soon as I start it.

Here is a pastebin log
