Will there ever be an official Kodi remote?. Im not talking about an app but a proper remote. Is this anything that the Kodi foundation has ever looked into?

See the problem is that Kodi pretty much plays on every damn operating system out there. Kind of hard to support them all with a single remote...
I don't think they are into the hardware business.

To be clear, it's not something we've looked into. Whether it'll ever be a thing in the future is harder to say, given my inability to know the future.

Why bother? just get a FLIRC and any remote you want...
