DVDplayer - standalone without GUI - jeffkeeper - 2015-01-27
I have a hummingboard-i2 and I would like to use a standalone DVDplayer without the Kodi GUI.
Ideally, I'm looking for a video player for the hummingboard that works like the OMXplayer does on the raspberry and feel this player might be a good fit.
I would also like to control it (play, stop, pause..etc..) via a command line.
Any help would be appreciated.

start coding. there is currently no way to use dvdplayer outside kodi, too many tentacles going everywhere into core code.
