no audio in Firefox - mkaut - 2015-03-21

Hello,

on my Xbmcbuntu, I used to have (on Frodo) an Advanced launcher that opened Firefox inside an OpenBox session.
On Kodibuntu with Helix, however, this no longer works. Somewhere (lost the link), I read that Kodi no longer needs the OpenBox session and indeed, I can just call Firefox directly, even from the Kodi session (no desktop running).
However, when I do this, I do not have audio in Firefox :-(

What should I do to make it work?

If it helps, I do not seem to have pulseaudio installed.
Also, I need Firefox, not Chrome or Chromium, because I need some of the plugins from pipelight that no longer work in Chrome.

Thanks.
