Kodi no longer determining video resolution - Uberman46 - 2015-03-28

I recently added a Pi to my network running Kodi, so I now have two. In order to have them both synchronize, I followed the directions for sharing the database (here: http://kodi.wiki/view/MySQL/Setting_up_Kodi).

However, neither of my Kodi instances is now automatically determining the resolution of a video when I add it to the library. The spot where the "SD" or "HD" icon should be is just blank. This worked fine before, when the database was local to the sole Kodi instance.

I've tried various things to get it to detect it again, but without success. Can somebody tell me if I'm missing some crucial setting for this configuration, or perhaps do I now have to do this manually? I'm starting to accumulate videos in the library that have this blank resolution, and it's becoming bothersome.

The Samba share that they both mount has "follow symlinks = yes", as all my movies are symlink'd to another location on the NAS. However, I moved a movie into the proper location so there was no symlink, and Kodi still would not detect the resolution.

Both Pis are using the most current Kodi distributions that are automatically updated when the Pi is booted ("Compiled: Feb 2 2015"). I'm assuming this is Kodi 15.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks, Milhouse. My search-before-posting didn't catch this.

I'll see if the workaround (playing the movie) helps.
