But do go to Settings/Player/DSPlayer and have a look around. If something isn't self explaining, ask here. Pretty sure BluRay ISOs aren't playable. Just rip the content to MKVs using MakeMKV. There is no solution because it's not infected by a virus. it's a false positive (probably due to the installer/packer) I've been running it since it came out and nothing weird happening. If you don't trust a build posted by aracnoz, don't bother with dsplayer at all. New 17.5 build is great. Decided to try 64bit this time. 4K HDR plays very nicely on that build. Had trouble with 4K on 17.4 32bit. Cheers (again) to you aracnoz. Thank you. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - pagali - 2017-10-29 According to this post: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=323200 some people are getting the same false positive on the plain vanilla Kodi 17.5. So perhaps it's part of the standard release, not exclusive to DSPlayer. As I said earlier, I've also had no problems with downloading or installing it. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - mkohman - 2017-10-29 Hi guys, Apologies if this has been covered or may seem like a stupid question ... I only watch quality BluRay Remux movies and I already have a Darbee Darblet 5000s. I have recently installed DSPlayer 17.5 Kodi and I like MadVR what it brings to the experience along with ReClock etc. I would like to know the best possible settings within MadVR for me if I am only watching 1080p High Quality Remux videos.. Any settings with screenshots or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.. PS: I currently have Sapphire 6540 1GB DDR3 card in my HTPC , do you guys reccomend an upgrade? If so which card and what benefits will I get.. Thank you. I still have some problems with EVR. I tried with 2 different graphy cards: intel HD4000 and ASUS HD7750. Identical problems. 1) When playing a video the screen is black at launch, after 2 times AltGr 8 the display is OK, there is no error in the log. 2) Always tearing visible on the videos in the format 1.78 (16/9). Excuse me for my bad english. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - ashlar - 2017-10-29 (2017-10-28, 14:04)mkohman Wrote: Thank you for your reply, much appreciated. I have installed and had a play with things I like the Jinc setting for video in MadVR as I think this one is possibly the sharpest and clearest image without any ringing.. (I may be wrong though) lol..Yes, Reclock works only on 32 bit. But with Sanear and the new madVR optimizations for custom refresh rates I find Reclock absolutely useless. I have 0 drops/repeats at 24/50/60Hz with no need to resampling audio (which is what Reclock does). You can read about this here: http://madvr.com/crt/CustomResTutorial.html Unless I'm mistaken no, iso files are not played. Not sure about .bdmv. Altough, with tools available today, remuxing to an mkv file is kind of easy, so I've never given it much thought. No one has same problem ? RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - ashlar - 2017-10-30 (2017-10-29, 18:55)mkohman Wrote: Thank you for your reply.. I thought reclock was better than Sanear.. please forgive my ignorance.. I am new to all this.. Correct me if I am wrong though..It depends on how you plan to have sound played back. If you connect to an AVR (amplifier, receiver) capable of decoding multichannel codecs, you can use Sanear in WASAPI mode and enable bitstreaming. Reclock is not "better" than Sanear. Reclock simply does more things. Things that were considered crucial until we (the community I mean) discovered that it was possible, using madVR stats, to create custom resolutions that made these extra things redundant. Reclock can adapt the audio to your video reproduction speed. There are two clocks involved, the video clock and the audio clock. If they are not perfectly in sync you get dropped or duplicated frames every xx interval of time (depending on how out of sync they are). If you read the link I provided, you can see that madVR now offers the opportunity to create custom resolutions that take into account this and lead you to perfectly smooth playback with no need to resample (adapt) audio. When used for this, with no "special" custom resolutions, Reclock slightly changes your audio. Which is something purists frown upon (it's honestly no big deal, but everybody has the right to enjoy movies however he wants). You can refer to the above link for details on madVR custom resolutions, you can read this guide for DSPlayer configuration (https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=222576), you can check this other guide to understand all of madVR options (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=171787). Sanear has few options, it should be easy. As far as differences between DSPlayer and using MPC-HC as an external player, with DSPlayer you get full integration with Kodi. You can use many plugins directly (for me the most important one is the subtitles one, being able to download subtitles on the fly through my remote, when needed). If you are curious about that road, you can check this guide: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=259188 Happy configuration! RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - dude2511 - 2017-10-30 With Kodi DSPlayer I am having issues to access FTP and DAV sources (normal Kodi edition works as expected). Local files and SMB works fine. Is this a known issue? I can post the kodi.log file if needed. Without debug logging, I see an entry "unplayalbe file" and the URI shows USERNAMEASSWORD instead of the real values. TIA P.S. Tested with latest DSPlayer/Kodi release and Krypton 17.4 |
