I've tried every sort of setting but I was unable to fix it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

EDIT: Managed to fix it enabling refresh rate sync on kodi and cleaning display modes at madvr.

another way to fix that is to turn off display scaling.

I'm new to all this, do you mind to tell where this setting lays at?

Thank you
windows setting.  where it makes the items on the screen look bigger?

Doing a quick google search shows these errors are Upnp related.   Try turning off sharing your library via upnp

RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - mclingo - 2017-11-17

sorry to come here but i'm getting no help on the MADVR forum. I had to ditch my RX550 gfx card as it was very crashy, cant find a single stable driver so i've moved to a GTX1050. No crashes but it frame drop city almost exactly on the 4 minutue mark regardless of what I do.

I've tried creating a 1080p 23.976 resolution but it gets overwritten every time I click apply, is there are solution to this problem, i'm tearing what little hair I have left out here Sad

You need to work on a different refresh rate than the one you're editing. Are you doing that?

RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - mclingo - 2017-11-18

thanks, yeah tried it both ways. I got it there in the end but it made no difference, still getting drop frames, decided to have another go with my ATI card, I suspect my ageing motherboard is causing the problems i'm having, black screen on stop, system freezes on stop, kody crashing mid play. All my problems started with I took out my RX480 and put in an RX550 to try and save a few quid a year in power consumption, so wish I hadnt done that.

got the RX card back in now, just going through the motions of dropping back to some older drivers and reinstalled filters, apps and madvr. I think i'm going to have to get some new kit.

RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Talguy - 2017-11-18

Is anyone experiencing that the nvidia drivers are being forced to update to 388.13.  I had version 385.41 installed and experienced it automatically being updated without the software informing me three times tonight. each time it happened I was in the middle of a movie.  I know 385.41 is the best driver to use for enabling and disabling HDR content and I want to stay on it.  can anyone tell me what I need to do to prevent the drivers from updating besides disabling the auto download feature in Geforce Experience?

Is it maybe updating through Windows Update? In that case, there's a setting stopping it from updating drivers.

Ok I'll look I to that. Not sure if it is. This may have changed when I went to the falls creator update.

No it's not available.  And 17.6 is not yet available.  If it ever will be.   Hopefully we will see 17.6 soon.  and 18, if things go as they have been, we may see it sometime after it's final stable release to the public.

Ok, tried this out last night.  Disabled the setting in the hardware section of the Systems window.  rolled back the driver using DDU to 385.45 and then restarted the machine and let it set idle over night.  Turned it on this morning and checked the driver update log from the device manager and noticed that it auto updated to 388.13 again 15 minutes after I walked away from the machine for the night.  Like WTF how can I prevent this so I can just enjoy my HDR content?
