I have a gtx1030 and a sony xbr900e. I let my display upscale. All I wanted is 4k hdr working and I have it.

This thread (DSPlayer with LAV Filters, XySubFilter and madVR Set up Guide post #3) https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=222576 suggests, "ReClock must be selected as the audio renderer under DSPlayer settings" but it does not show up there.

Any hints on how to make this work?

Requires x86 version of DSPlayer as there is no x64 reclock>

Nvidia graphics? In which case which drivers?

 Quick answer, no.

madVR only support hdr10.  (as far as I know)

Yes, Nvidia Geforce 1050. Latest drivers (388.43 x64). The settings doesn't seem to change the fact that the hdr stops working . Tested many settings. Installed MPC-BE as standalone now, and that works right away. Subtitles active and working so is HDR.
But NOT in Kodi! 😡
