RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - Patrics83 - 2015-04-19 @popcornmix I promised to make a DVD sample for you regarding the frame skipping, but I have no idea how to do that without changing the format. And btw, would a sample really matter since no matter what DVD (disc, img, iso) source I use, nothing is playable? Even the DVD menu isn't working properly. (Even on clean install). It's really strange that DVDs works for you tho. So maybe if you have a DVD sample then I can try it and see how it preforms at my end. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - arryo - 2015-04-19 Do I have to set the number of channels to 7.1 since I have only 5.1 system Also I understand that using this build I will be able to play full 3D movie, but when I play an ISO 3D bluray, it shows only 2D. Should I have to convert it to MKV? thanks RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - popcornmix - 2015-04-19 (2015-04-19, 18:43)arryo Wrote: Do I have to set the number of channels to 7.1 since I have only 5.1 systemEither should work. If you set to 7.1 your receiver will downmix. If you set to 5.1 Kodi will downmix. Try both and see which you prefer. Quote:Also I understand that using this build I will be able to play full 3D movie, but when I play an ISO 3D bluray, it shows only 2D. Should I have to convert it to MKV?Currently MVC in ISO file is not supported. You need to run makemkv on the ISO and make sure the stereo channel is enabled. This is quite quick (a remux rather than a re-encode). This will produce an MVC mkv file that will play in 3D. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - doldi - 2015-04-19 @popcornmix DTS is playing okay on build #417, with and without the advancedsetting (see 2 logs) i didn't use #418 (see coment from other users and me) THX seeYah RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - blubserl - 2015-04-19 (2015-04-19, 17:05)ktfzone Wrote: Any idea if there is any known issue for audio clicks while playing FLAC files on external USB audio cards on RPI2 ? i also posted a thread regarding this topic: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=224787 does this sound familiar to you? RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - Milhouse - 2015-04-19 New OpenELEC Isengard build #0419: RPi / RPi2 (Supercedes previous build) Code: # uname -a Based on tip of OpenELEC master (7671ddfe, changelog) and tip of XBMC master (29908c2e, changelog) with the following modifications:
RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - zaphod24 - 2015-04-19 mmal/dvdplayer video playback is working correctly again with 0419 after issues with 0418. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - parcel - 2015-04-20 It's working good again. but it shows errored squared box too often and showed like lagged often in video. It didn't showed in build 0417. "errored squared box" - do you mean you're seeing a red square box in the top right of the display? This is the over-temperature warning. Running bcmstat.sh in ssh will allow you to view the current temperature. If the square box is rainbow coloured, this is the under-voltage warning and you need a better power supply and/or USB cable. It's not a rainbow box, it's like digital noised on videos. Sorry for my inaccuracy expression. After reboot, It seem to ok now. thank you RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - thent - 2015-04-20 (2015-04-19, 22:46)Milhouse Wrote: Build Highlights: Just for my understanding: would this mean, that any MyVideos<xy>.db with xy < 92 in /.kodi/userdata/Database can be removed? Does this also apply to any other type of database, e.g. MyMusic, TV, Epg, etc.? I am using a similar setup, USB audio + stereo amplifier for music, HDMI + receiver for movies. I will do some more testing tonight. I upgraded to 419 last night and it seemed it worked better. If you keep them you can go back and have the DB state from the time before the upgrade (changes to DB in newer version won't be applied in old version).(2015-04-19, 22:46)Milhouse Wrote: Build Highlights: RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 2 - popcornmix - 2015-04-20 (2015-04-19, 18:39)Patrics83 Wrote: And btw, would a sample really matter since no matter what DVD (disc, img, iso) source I use, nothing is playable? Can you provide a sample file that shows this issue? Not something I'm seeing here. |
