Hi (usual disclaimer: english is not my natural language, so blame my teachers for all typos /grammatic errors
)!Over here we have set up a dvbviewer RS to support MANY clients in parallel, they all may watch TV freely, but I like to limit their access to timers and so on.
The RS itself has a "guest account" which works good, if you use DVBViewer only.
But with this addon, the admin login is needed, else it wont connect to RS.
Am I missing something, or doesnt it really work at all with the guest account?
(and if yes: are there any plans to make it work someday
)

Running with guest privileges isn't possible because the guest account doesn't have access to RS API.
So before I can even decide on adding such feature, the DVBViewer team has to add support for different userlevels to their API.
