New box suggestions - wargo - 2015-04-28
Hello guys,
time for a new box, please help me to choose.
my current config is Raspberry Pi + Raspbmc + HDD plugged with all the movies (YIFY)
Windows Laptop and Pi connected with Powerline, basically I download from Laptop directly into the HDD connected to the Pi.
Personally I love the Pi, currently I use it for watching the movies, but never being 100% happy with the apps, ie Youtube is very slow and lack of web browser.
I was wondering if I should go for the Pi 2 or an Android Box would make my tv more "smart" so I can use Kodi as well as Youtube, Chrome, Skype etc.
and also I could use uTorrent directly on the Android Box in order to avoid the Windows Laptop?
Or will the Pi 2 with Raspbian will turn in a proper mini computer? I've seen some videos on youtube and still web browsing is still slow.
Please Suggestions!
PS also could the amazon tv be an option?
