get Kodi on my PC.
I am very new to this. I have hooked up the box to my TV and everything is fine.
I recently noticed a tutorial online about downloading an add-on called 'Pulsar' which is described as being very good.
In this tutorial it demonstrates how to download the initial prog on your pc.
It then shows how to download the addon from a zip file onto your box.
Any tutorial I look at seems to assume that the box is connected to a PC rather than a TV
Am I doing something wrong here?
(I hope this isn't a banned thing - I have checked all the lists and it doesn't seem to be on any of them...)

You install it on your 'box' the same way you installed it on your laptop.
