Progrommatic remote control via wifi? - twgray - 2015-06-03 I currently have Kodi running on a RaspberryPi 2. I would like to include control of this into my home control system...Linux based with voice control. To clarify, I would like to have my home control server(s) be able to remotely control Kodi/RasperryPi, via the network, wired or wifi, responding to either keyboard or voice commands. The home server is already in place with both keyboard and voice control. What I don't have or know how to do the the Kodi control via network. Is there a published API for network control? RE: Progrommatic remote control via wifi? - Bosse_B - 2015-06-03 Yatse remote control would work. It is an Android app that I use all the time to interact with KODI. RE: Progrommatic remote control via wifi? - twgray - 2015-06-03 Yes, Yatse will work on an android device, but I want to control Kodi from a Linux server...no android or IOS device. RE: Progrommatic remote control via wifi? - whitebelly - 2015-06-03 I think this is what you want. http://kodi.wiki/view/JSON-RPC_API RE: Progrommatic remote control via wifi? - twgray - 2015-06-03 Outstanding...exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! |
