Quiet audio - archie456 - 2015-06-27

Hi,

I'm running OpenElec on a Raspberry Pi 2.

All works well, except I find movie files a little quiet - I have to turn the TV up to 70 to find them acceptable. 70 is very loud when using the TV on its own.

Is there any setting in Kodi which affects the audio output - that I should change.

Thanks.

I find Kodi very quiet in general, not dependent on platform you are running. You can boost volume by changing Volume Amplification option in Audio settings when video starts....

@archie456 hdmi or analogue output?
Make sure kodi's volume is at 100% (+ key on keyboard).

Are you downmixing multichannel audio to 2.0?
Does your TV support AC3 passthrough?
