Bookmarks in one place - Hrvoje - 2015-07-10

I am forced to post again this feature request because my last post was marked as rule violation, because of other member post.

Currently bookmarks are available only for active movie/tv show and the idea is to access bookmarks from all movies into one specific folder or place, similar to GOM or Pot player.

RE: Bookmarks in one place - MediaPi - 2015-07-11

similar to this (video bookmark browser)
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=104740
this is outdated

then along came this for confluence
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=111589

I've been wanting such a feature myself and think it can fit nicely with Kodi

Anything new would be welcome feature for Kodi bookmarks. For the moment Kodi is the only one video player I know, which doesn't have list of bookmarks in one place.

I would also like this feature.

RE: Bookmarks in one place - irishpab - 2016-03-03

I was going to propose this feature and I have found that it has been already requested.

I would also like to see it implemented because I am a fan of the bookmarks, for me it is a very useful feature that I use a lot. I suppose it is also because I got three kids at home and they usually need attention while I am watching something.

RE: Bookmarks in one place - Ned Scott - 2016-03-03

Bookmarks in Kodi are basically a user-created chapter marker. There could potentially be dozens of bookmarks in a single video file, which could mean possibly hundreds in a unified list.

Maybe what you want is more like Favorites (wiki) with timestamps?

RE: Bookmarks in one place - irishpab - 2016-03-03

Definitely, Favourites will be a good place where we could find saved bookmarks. So you can see the movie/show title plus the timestamp.

RE: Bookmarks in one place - Hrvoje - 2016-03-28

Favorites with timestamps would be step forward, although I prefer separate solution.

RE: Bookmarks in one place - canaan - 2017-04-25

I'd like this too.

I have a bunch of movies with scenes that I like to use when showing off my setup. To have all the bookmarks in one place so that I can scroll through them easily, rathern than going to each movie and then finding the spot in each, would be greatly beneficial.

Any news about being added the bookmark access through the JSON API?

I really miss this feature.

Timestamps ftw (y)

This is one of my top requests as well. Unified bookmarks would be extremely useful. I spend most of my time digging around trying to find my stuff.

I hacked a button on the movieinfo dialog that starts the video playing then pauses it and finally opens the bookmark dialog.  It doesn't work well if the video has a resume point set.  It also is supposed to stop the video when the dialog is closed but it seems like that doesn't always work.  I would like to at least be able to see the chapter list in the video collection view for the focused listitem.  Or a JSON api call to get the bookmarks for a DBID.
