Weird keyboard input problems - MadPsy - 2015-07-13
Hey,
Pi 2 with Helix running, bluetooth keyboard (in fact tried a USB keyboard to no avail).
When tying into a text field (such as a search field) in Kodi the letters don't input anything but the numbers cycle through letters like an old school phone (press 1 over and over and it'll enter various symbols, press 2 and it cycles through some letters). Return and arrow keys work though.
Not using a custom keyboard map of any kind.
Keyboard entry works in X and on the console etc so it appears to only affect Kodi.
A bit lost to say the least.
Any thoughts welcome.

There is something reminiscent of this reported in the OSMC forums (discourse.osmc.tv).
I don't remember the details - so it might be kodi, OS or something else.
You might have a quick look here as well
As a matter of enlightenment, what OS are we talking about here?
