Ask whoever provides that OS for that box how to install gdb in there presuming they use some sort of package manager it shouldn't be very hard.

I doubt that it'll be easy, since this is probably buildroot based custom image. In any case, ask whoever makes that image

Also you probably only get a crashlog with stacktrace with a recent nightly build but you can ask the guy who makes these images to include gdb and nightly builds also.
