Frozen black screen - Slcoastal - 2015-08-20
Don't know version of Kodi. Down loaded last week (8/12/15) it's NOT 15.0 Isengard so presumably the version before?

I closed my laptop before exiting Kodi was complete and now I have a frozen black screen with nothing responding. I have tried to reboot several different ways. Reset NVRAM, SMC, took out battery and RAM. Can't get to safe mode. I have tried all the things I could find on the web.

It's doubtful that Kodi could do anything that would lock up the whole computer. I assume you've tried to boot from the recovery partition?
