Openelec and Bluetooth on Intel nuc - Jimmay19 - 2015-10-04

Hi guys

I'm getting the Ac Bluetooth card for my Intel nuc that is running openelec. I am getting so I can use Bluetooth remotes with it. However, since I'm not running Windows or anything, will I have to somehow install drivers for it? Or should it be plug and play?

You can't install additional drivers if you are using OpenELEC. OpenELEC is a read-only system and either your bluetooth card is supported or it is not. The only way to install drivers while using OpenELEC is to add them while you compile it yourself from source.

Do you know if this card is supported on the intel nuc for openelec?

This is not confirmation since I've never tried it, but I'd say if any card is going to be supported, that should be one. It's extremely common.
