Windows 10 to Android SMB - cel_ro - 2015-10-20 Hello, I'm having a problem accessing my Windows 10 homegroup folders on my Android tablet through SMB. When i try to add an SMB folder, Kodi (on Android) immediately sees my homegroup and when I select it, it shows me all the devices connected to it. In this case it's my Windows desktop PC and my Windows tablet. When I select one of the devices it asks me for username and password, so I enter my Windows login e-mail and password. At this point it just returns to the same screen, asking me to input my account details again. Am I doing anything wrong? Is the login that I have to input in Kodi not the same as my Windows one? I'm using Kodi 15.1. Appreciate your help. RE: Windows 10 to Android SMB - larshj - 2015-10-26 Try using just your first name as username. I got access to the main directory with my email, but for the individual subfolders I had to use just my first name. |
