"Testing" mode - timdog82001 - 2007-02-13
I think it would be handy to have a "testing mode" or something like that, it would come in handy when making skins or icons, when you're testing multiple versions of the same file, so you don't have to keep manually deleting the cache every time. Obviously, this isn't a big deal....But if its something simple to code, I think it would be a nice "hidden" feature.

isn't there already a 'Reload Skin' function that works in both the Xbox and the XBMC_PC version of XBMC? Think there's a is button under User Interface settings but I believe you should be able to execute the command from any button on the controller or remote if you map the command ID in keymap.xml ...try it and report result

well i've been testing icons that aren't parts of skins too, which that doesn't help

write a little python script that deletes cache on restart of xbmc or something...
