It would be nice to have a button where after setting the subtitle offset for a movie we could save the changes to the subtitle file, so the next time we play that movie no offset setting is needed...

Kodi should save the offset information in the video DB already, which can be exported to an NFO text file next to the movie/subtitle. Are you having to change it every time you play the same video?
