Can't get Kodi 16.1 to decode DTS HD and True HD files! - gate1975mlm - 2016-04-27
I have a computer with an Intel Celeron 3205U which can decode DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD and have tested this with success using pot player. My Denon receiver shows both DTS HD and True HD logos lit up when playing back both files with pot player. However no matter what I do I can not get the same 2 files to playback in HD audio with Kodi 16.1.
Any ideas?

I figured it out
I had to select WASAP-HDMI for Passthrough output device which then added DTS HD and TrueHD settings. After putting a check mark next to both of them it now works.
