It's been a few weeks since we've heard from any of the developers about progress on the linux port. Is there any progress or screenshots that you can entertain us with?

Last couple of weeks were mainly stabilization and porting of the new 3D skin features to OpenGL.

ok nice, thats what i suspected. I have tried to follow some of the things on the changelog but have trouble translating some of the technical stuff into english.
Also I don't want to get anyone angry by asking for an eta but is there any sort of timeframe set up or is the team just taking it as it comes, its finished when its finished?

Yes I know its a touchy subject among you and as I said, the last thing I want to do is make you angry. Just wanting to know if there even was a time frame set up or what the deal was. Definately not trying to hurry you up or anything like that. Sorry if it makes others try but that certainly was not the intention. Call me weird but I get excited when I hear about any progress made on this great app and although I try to get my kicks from the changelog, often I feel like Im missing alot of info because I dont understand some of the jargon.
Anyway, Im happy with the info yuvalt has given, thats all I was after. Thanks.
