How to make subtitles download to specific folder & rename? - NeoDuck - 2016-10-24

Whenever I download subtitles, they get downloaded to some directory that Kodi picked.

They're also named using some random number, like 8437.en.srt.

Is there a way to make Kodi:

  1. Download subtitles to the same folder location as the movie that was it downloaded for?
  2. Make the name be the same as the movie it was downloaded for?

Settings>player settings>language>download service and set subtitle storage location as next to the video.
For naming, I don't know. It should name them like a file, just with ."language".srt as the extension.

Hi, I don't see "player settings" in the Kodi menu?

this was for v17. But I'm sure that the same option is there in v16 also. I just don't remember where.
