RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - nicram - 2017-11-22

Hello. This is me again.
I'm still fighting with my KODI setup. The first problem, with remote controll not responding is still there.
But, there when i enable debuging - problem do not exist anymore. So the question is, how debug mode is changing USB devices like keyboards or mouse behave? It is strange for me, i willl try to update today, and test it again.

Also there is problem with support of my TV. I'm using old Grunding TV, that native resolution is 1366 x 768. But # /usr/lib/kodi/kodi-xrandr show me, that it do not say it supports it.
The result is that KODI window is little bit too large - so i use calibration to fix that, and it's working great. I may shut down KODI, restart it and it remembers that.
But when i use "suspend/sleep" and start it again, then picture is too large again. When i restart it (full restart) then it's ok again.
So it looks like after wake-up from suspend the calibration isn't loaded again. Here is debug log: http://www.marcinwilk.eu/kodi/kodi-lostscreenaftersleep.log
And here my system info (lspci, uname, dmesg, lsb_release): www.marcinwilk.eu/kodi/system-info.txt

Thank You for any help.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - flyingernst - 2017-11-23

Menu is still to dark. When I switch from limited to full range RGB the picture gets brighter, but the menu is still to dark. When I use HDMI 2 of the j4205, then there is an aspect ratio error, 16:9 movies do have black on the top and bottom. Bios 1.4 lspcon 1.66. HD audio works with hdmi 2 and avr with hdmi 2.0. but I have sometimes little sound errors like drops and funny sounds.

I have it too. Brightness dropped in these builds about a 1-1.5 months ago, also in video content (not sure if that was later fixed, I seem to recall readjusting). I adjusted my TV-set to show GUI brighter (it's still a little too dark) and then adjusted movie playback brightness/contrast and saved them as default. But there sure is a big GUI brightness difference to my Ubuntu 16.04 based Kodi 17 install.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Qwijibo - 2017-11-26

Hi Milhouse,

My wireless USB keyboard is not allowing entry into input boxes. I've only just switched over to x86 and gone back a few builds to test but this problem seems to persist. Not an issue in 17.x.
All other keys work.

Will adding permissions to TTY solve this?

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - debutanker - 2017-11-26

Since build #1124 ive noticed some trouble with only two (?) tv channels (Sport1 and DMAX HD or SD) and DVBLink TV Addon.
Starting with build #1124 i cant get those two channels to work (only black screen).
Seems, that all other channels are working fine.
Also i wanted to attach a debug log, but with "cat $HOME/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit" it doesnt work anymore - has something changed there?

edit: ok, with "cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit" everythings ok.
cheers
debutanker

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - debutanker - 2017-11-26

Seems, that my problems with generating the logfile is up to a extremly fast rising size if i want to reproduce my issue with those two tv channels - so i had to immediately stop trying to open the channel as only one second produces a file with 8mb...

Heres the log ---> http://sprunge.us/DONd

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Gismo112 - 2017-11-26

I can confirm the Problem with the Keyboard. This Problem i have also at Windows Kodi x64 after version KodiSetup-20171123-cc10efe-master-x64.exe (last working for me).

The issue with the 2 Channels with DVBLink i can also confirm. This Problem exist too in Windows x64.

Yes, the issue with physical keyboard entry in dialogs is reproducible on Raspberry Pi builds also (since #1124). The most likely candidate is:
