RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - sw4y - 2017-12-07 Thx @Milhouse for your help. Was indeed an UEFI Problem and could be solved. But I could not find a solution for the deinterlacing problems. I did save the settings for all media, but that has no effect. My advanced settings only contain the mysql section hat points to my nas. So nothing special. Also I'm can not not set Kodi to use 4K @ HZ as resolution. But I think this is a board / apollo lake problem. As HDR is not working at the moment I think I send the board back and stay with my N3150 which is running fine with your builds. If #1207 isn't working please post pastebin links to your dmesg from #1204 (which I assume is working) and also #1207. LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.0-Milhouse-20170202210210-#0202-g8d14fdd - no wifi, and... LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-Milhouse-20161201042826-#1130-g0ad9cf6 also no wifi. I chkecked like 6 from many months and wifi wasn't working, so i think it is from the beginning. BUT - in the stable release WiFi is working, and i can use it. Here are logs between versions: http://www.marcinwilk.eu/kodi/log-stable.txt - LibreELEC stable 8.2.0 (wifi working) http://www.marcinwilk.eu/kodi/log-stable8.2.1.txt - LibreELEC stable 8.2.1 (wifi working) http://www.marcinwilk.eu/kodi/log-20161201-1130.txt http://www.marcinwilk.eu/kodi/log-20170202-0202.txt http://www.marcinwilk.eu/kodi/log-20171207-1207.txt RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-12-09 (2017-12-09, 00:47)nicram Wrote: Well i wasn't sure if the problem started with #1204 because i was using ethernet cable, and was just checking 1205/1206/1207 if there is wireless signal (i read about some dependencies between wifi and BT when i was trying to find solution for my earlier problem). Not sure at the moment. There's not much to go on in the logs. I can see the 8.2.1 build is starting the WiFi device: Code: [ 3.424984] wlan0: Broadcom BCM4359 802.11 Hybrid Wireless Controller 6.30.223.271 (r587334) All the firmware for this device seems to be present in #1207. Build #1130 (from 2016) is shortly after we branched LE8 for release so that really shouldn't be significantly different from 8.2.1. Can you install 8.2.1 and upload the latest zip file from the Logfiles samba share to dropbox (or similar). Then do the same with #1207, and post both download links. Thanks. I have screen tearing but not the way i've seen it before. The screen "splits" into 2 triangles. Upper left and lower right. In fast scenes or sudden changes of contrast in videos there's a diagonal line from the top right corner to the bottom left corner. The "upper left" part of the image is behind about 1 or 2 frames resulting the mentiones triangles. CPU is an AMD Athlon 5350 APU, the GPU is the build in R3 (HD 8400). I checked it it's my TV but using the Amazon App on my Samsung didn't have this issue. Also tested regular TV which also didn't have this issue. Anyone else with this issue? Any ideas on how to fix it? Edit: I did some testing and it seems that VDPAU causes this. Turned off VDPAU and VAAPI and it's gone but now everything is software decode only so it's more a workaround than a fix :/ RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-12-09 @UrushibaraRuka: Check if older builds have the same issue (including also LibreELEC 8.2.1). I can't believe this issue would be *caused* by a clean install - the problem will either have always been there (but you had/have settings which masked it) or it's a recently introduced issue that you haven't tested before (you failed to mention what version you were using prior to the clean install). RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - UrushibaraRuka - 2017-12-10 Oh, aorry, what I meant was that I did the clean re-install because of that issue. I noticed this issue a while ago but ignored it until today. The last build I remember to ne without the issue was around #1115, I'll try to do some testing to find the build that brought the issue with it. Maybe I really just overlooked it all the time but then again, the issue is gone when i disable VDPAU, no issue with VAAPI (which seems like it's not used because the overlay says it's still software rendered) LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - mwake - 2017-12-10 Hi I need a little help, I tried the latest Millhouse and then had problems and decided to roll back to stable official 8.0.2. However when I did this i noticed that passthrough to my avr wasn't working properly web with the settings enabled. I noticed many settings had been defaulted which was fine... But even with everything selected as before and perfectly I can't get passthrough of DTS HD Master to work perfectly like it did before. Has anyone else had this happen...I don't know what to do short of a fullv wipe and reinstall. I am using HDMI cable as before I have not altered anything physical on my audio setup. I know that it is something to do with the Kodi rolling back to stable official version which has given this problem to the ability to do passthrough. I did not do a backup, I know I was stupid! Is there a known situation technique I can do to force Kodi to do passthrough properly in these types of situations or do I have to do a wipe and reinstall?
