What are the specs of your living room pc and the NUC? Could be due to different performance specs as well. so long, Hias RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - debutanker - 2018-04-21 (2018-04-21, 14:07)HiassofT Wrote:(2018-04-21, 13:44)debutanker Wrote: Short tests between beer and BBQ...hehe, I'm taking a short break from garden work, beer will follow later Cheers! Specs are below in my signature (both KL i3-7100 with SSD). So i don't think this is hw-related. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - blob810 - 2018-04-22 I have a little problem with one movie when playing from BD-Disc. After I select the correct title in the simplified kodi menu, it takes over 2 1/2 minutes to start the movie. In the debug log I can see that there are about 20 lines that repeat themselves the 2 1/2 minutes. After that time the movie is starting. The movie is called "Coco". I'm on build #0421. Pastebin RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - SirMacke - 2018-04-22 So my native Kodi install crashed on my NUC, so I had to reinstall. (17 --> upgrade to latest 18-build) Now I cannot get the smoothness wich I had before. Had System set to 60hz and all playback was good. Now most is choppy, 23.974 or what it is, 25hz and so on. Sure, I can set refreshrate manually, but boring to do whenever I change the source. (Netflix, local files, streaming local channels) That has always worked before and I have never changed any settings before. I've seen that there should be some kind of automatic refreshrate. It is not shown in the settings, and it is clearly not working. I have no idea wich version I had before the crash. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - rkpisanu - 2018-04-22 Is it possible to make an update to the kernel 4.12.12 because some mini pc/tablet intel x5-8350 have no sound with other kernels? Thanks. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2018-04-23 (2018-04-22, 23:17)rkpisanu Wrote: Is it possible to make an update to the kernel 4.12.12 because some mini pc/tablet intel x5-8350 have no sound with other kernels? Yes it is possible, and you can do it yourself - build details are in the LibreELEC Wiki. Configure the repository to use the 4.12.12 kernel and then build the Generic project (please don't ask build-related questions in this thread - start a thread on the LibreELEC forum). I won't be providing builds based on that kernel. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - rkpisanu - 2018-04-23 Ok but when I use your update, is the kernel overwritten again ? RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2018-04-23 (2018-04-23, 10:09)rkpisanu Wrote: Ok but when I use your update, is the kernel overwritten again ? Yes, all LibreELEC builds will replace the kernel during the upgrade. You should start a thread on the LibreELEC forum and maybe someone will have ideas about how your CherryTrail hardware can be supported with a mainline kernel. I believe some of the audio issues are caused by PulseAudio, and may be fixed in PulseAudio 12 (still under development). RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Roby77 - 2018-04-23 Hi with last version Kodi crash in bootloop until safe mode start I can't get log via Kodi log uploader cause keep crashing Hope so this log is correct https://www.dropbox.com/s/mpsbx47toidc5dr/log-2018-04-23-13.19.48-FAILED.zip?dl=0 RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2018-04-23 (2018-04-23, 15:35)Roby77 Wrote: Hi with last version Kodi crash in bootloop until safe mode start Thanks, the crashing is caused by the Python optimisation and there may be a fix for that tonight. I'd like to leave it in tonight, and see where we're at tomorrow.
