Upload the latest zip file from the Logfiles samba share somewhere, then post the link. After I select the correct title in the simplified kodi menu, it takes over 2 1/2 minutes to start the movie. In the debug log I can see that there are about 20 lines that repeat themselves the 2 1/2 minutes. After that time the movie is starting. The movie is called "Coco". I'm on build #0421.The same problem with star wars the las jedi. Maybe all discs from disney? RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - laric - 2018-04-24 Just finished building a new kodi box for the livingroom with Ryzen 5 2400g. Will it work with your builds Milhouse? Will it work with your builds Milhouse?I can't see why not, it looks ok to me. I'm running a Nvidia on my desktop and a i3-6100 for my HTPC/LibreELEC though... So maybe wait until someone running the same rig, or close chimes in. Or just boot from USB and give it a go! Will it work with your builds Milhouse? I'm not entirely sure, although I suspect the Ryzen APUs may require a mainline kernel such as 4.16.y. You can always give it a go and let us know. Do I need to use another live image (ubuntu or so) and mount the disk to add in the update and then hope your image supports it? RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2018-04-24 @laric: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=298462&pid=2717780#pid2717780 You may also find that the Update Samba share is available. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - laric - 2018-04-24 Thanks.. Got your image in using a live ubuntu 18.04 in. Ryzen 5 2400g is not supported. failed to start xorg. is your GPU supported?. seems like it needs 4.16 kernel to run really. And my understanding from reading you latest posts is that Libreelec will stay on your current kernel for the 9.0 release when ever that is going to be? so no AMD Ryzen with vega until next wave of alphas in kodi 19? Yes, as things stand LibreELEC 9.0 will be released with 4.14.y, as that's the current LTS kernel. LibreELEC 10.0 will (probably) use the next LTS kernel (4.19.y, maybe 4.20.y) once it becomes available, but that kernel may not be released for another 12 months or more. Kodi 19 could be around before the next LTS is released in which case LE 10 alphas will continue with the old LTS (without support for Ryzen/Vega). |
