RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2018-12-06 (2018-12-06, 21:44)Simaryp Wrote: Just as a note. I created an issue on the kodi github, but so far noting really happened. Yes, issue #14977. Another user has created issue #15002 which mentions 2 mouse pointers/cursors, and in it I think fernetmenta may be referring to your issue. Still not sure why the issue you have reported would start with build #1028. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - spiffyriceburner - 2018-12-07 ^^^ RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - spiffyriceburner - 2018-12-07 Thank you for all of your hard work! On #1206 - generic I am still experiencing audio stuttering/crackling issue that has been recurring for the POLARIS12 cards (RX 550) through HDMI. From your earlier encounter with this bug, you mentioned the 4.19.7 kernel might fix it with the AMDGPU updates, but it seemingly made it worse. http://ix.io/1vqi RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - FernetMenta - 2018-12-07 (2018-12-06, 23:24)Milhouse Wrote:Because this was merged Oct. 27th: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/14701(2018-12-06, 21:44)Simaryp Wrote: Just as a note. I created an issue on the kodi github, but so far noting really happened. EDIT: the solution is simple: just whitelist the refresh rates you really need. In general those are only 23.976, 24, 50, 59.94, 60 RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Simaryp - 2018-12-07 Hi FernetMenta, please see also my comment in the issue. The 25Hz is only part of the problem. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Simaryp - 2018-12-07 To follow your suggestion I had to select from the allowed resolution everything beside FHD 25 HZ. I had nothing specifically white or blacklisted beforehand. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - FernetMenta - 2018-12-07 (2018-12-07, 19:48)Milhouse Wrote:No, I said that the whitelist change is responsible for having two resolution changes instead of one. That is the first error that shows in the log. This can easily be fixed by a whitelist that lacks 25hz. We never selected a 25hz mode in earlier version. It could be an issue related to that, I don't know. A new debug log with with this whitelist might tell more.(2018-12-07, 09:31)FernetMenta Wrote: Because this was merged Oct. 27th: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/14701 RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Simaryp - 2018-12-07 I can provide one later. I created a list now and of course the double switch is away. But still the starting of any playback is delayed and it seems the hdmi connection is lost. This in my experience cause this overlay problem with the libreelec cursor. Also in the old log I opened an episode of TBBT where the exact same behavior is observable. I assume it will be identical to the new log. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Simaryp - 2018-12-07 I made a new log. Directly after stopping playback the cursor appeared on kodi. Also long black screen because of HDMI issues. https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/rnjrgTdCkC/ RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - fritsch - 2018-12-07 (2018-12-07, 20:09)FernetMenta Wrote:(2018-12-07, 19:48)Milhouse Wrote:No, I said that the whitelist change is responsible for having two resolution changes instead of one. Also this has nothing to do with whitelist as the whitelist is NOT changed at all. The code you mention is only triggered _if_ the whitelist is empty AND user has enabled Adjust Refreshraterate in this combination. So in short: In order to workaround kodi shortcomings differentiating 25p and 50i content on playback start, you should not whitelist 25 hz modes oder 29.97 hz modes or 30 hz modes. For the single case: User has Adjust Refreshrate enabled BUT no whitelist at all - I removed all those "half refreshrates" from the internally auto generated modelist. Thanks @fritsch, I'll include PR15016 in tonight's build. RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - aw87 - 2018-12-08 I am trying to get bluetooth working on an Intel Compute Stick STCK1A8LFC. Build #1207 I found this http://sources.libreelec.tv/mirror/rtl8723bs_bt/ And also found the driver under the CoreELEC packages How would I go about implementing the rtl8723bs_bt driver? |
