It may sound a little spoiled but I just wanted to let you know.
I found that starting with build #0117 the network speed from my realtek pcie gbe family controller drops from over 100MBs in build #116 to 60MBs max. in #117 and later.
This happens when I copy a large testfile from the Libreelec PC to a windows PC. When I do it the other way around (copy a file from the Windows PC to the Libreelec PC) the speed is oke (over 100MBs).

I forgot to revert the network changes in #0117 following your report but will do this tonight. It will be interesting if you can repeat your test with #0319 (default CONFIG_TCP_CONG_BBR) and tonight's #0320 (default CONFIG_TCP_CONG_CUBIC) and see if your wired performance returns to normal.

Problem solved, up and down 100/112MBs.
Don't know if you loose speed on other fronts but for Windows/Samba it now works as expected.

Thanks!

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-03-21

@rudrood thanks, I'll leave the test commits out in future. In theory they could/should have improved performance on weak/poor network connections (ie. WiFi) but as there have been no positive reports in that regard, plus your negative report for a wired connection, it doesn't seem to be worth continuing with the changes.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-03-21

In this last build you might find the webserver is disabled (affecting Yatse etc.) - this will be fixed tonight. See this post for details.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - pacoma2610 - 2017-03-22

Is there already a timeframe when your build is ready for initial tests with 4K UHD 10bit?

None that I'm aware of. If/when the kodi-agile work is merged in Kodi master then it will be included in these builds.

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - SharpCoder - 2017-03-23

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - Milhouse - 2017-03-23

The LE 9.0 addons repository isn't yet populated so there's nothing yet to install. Out of my control, I'm afraid...

RE: LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0) - jan-g - 2017-03-23

@Milhouse
lost SMB to my win8.1 machine with #0322
NOT using samba.conf
SMB from Win8.1 to LibreElec is fine.

Can you post a debug log when accessing your windows machine from Kodi. Also, can you enable SMB component debug logging, thanks.
