Because i have no retina hardware and am not interested in it - easy...

Also its 2017 and people still think that throwing year numbers in an open source forum will change anything. Why? Wink

If I'm not mistaken, going to Settings --> System --> Display --> Resolution and setting it to the native resolution of your device, it should work.
Click here for link in wiki related to changing resolution
Note that this means content will have to be up scaled to this resolution, and the UI might feel less responsive.
