I'm not sure if this a skin feature or an addon but on another skin I use there's an option to automatically jump to the first unwatched episode when viewing a list of episodes. So, you select a show, and then a season and then rather then highlighting the first episode it will jump to the first unwatched episode.
It's a small thing but it sure is nice.
Thanks for showing me where this setting is or for considering it for a future release.

I just found the setting. It's a kodi setting.
Settings, Media, Video, Select first unwatched...
Maybe this will help someone else.
