Any idea why Kodi won't load? - k100Xtrim - 2017-04-20
uninstalled and deleted Kodi. Downloaded from official site the new 17.1 install OK, but won't run. Installed the old 15.1 version runs OK, attempted to upgrade to 17.1 and now same thing has happened, won,t load. I have had it running so it was fresh new install, now not having any of it.

Since the OP doesn't state what OS they are using, moving to OS Independent.

You will need to create an Advanced Debug Log as detailed here... http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced
The debug log records all the operations Kodi performs while starting and running. When it crashes, it will record right up to the crash. With that log, member here can advise you on the problem.
Providing the debug log is the first step to solve the problem.
Let us know if you have any problems with i
