New Scrapping Issue - jeremymc7 - 2008-04-14 Ok here's one that wont work. I know typically these issues are:
Filename - Broken (2006/I) IMDB title query - Broken (2006/I) OSXBMC result - 2006 Parkening International Guitar Competition WHAT ? ! ? ! - jeremymc7 - 2008-04-14 Here's another example Filename - Chaos (2005/II) IMDB title query - Chaos (2005/II) OSXBMC result - Heisei Kyoiku iinkai: 2005 Nyushi chokuzen supesharu - spiff - 2008-04-14 as long as you use the default imdb server it is akas.imdb.com this will match weird for alot of stuff as alternative titles takes precedence - jeremymc7 - 2008-04-14 spiff Wrote:as long as you use the default imdb server it is I understand that. But neither of these is an issue with alternative titles. - iordonez - 2008-04-15 Is this only happening with movies which have /I or /II in their year? Try removing /I or /II from the title... - iordonez - 2008-04-15 On further review searching for "broken 2006" does come up with "2006 Parkening International Guitar Competition" while "Broken (2006/I)" comes up with the correct title. Could the scraper be ignoring the /I? - jeremymc7 - 2008-04-15 I found what may be an issue with OSXBC scrapper. So the file title and IMDB title are Chaos (2005/II). And I have use folder/file name for scrapping on. When OSXBC adds to the file view it names it Chaos (2005:II) instead and this is what it uses to search IMDB. - jeremymc7 - 2008-04-15 iordonez Wrote:On further review searching for "broken 2006" does come up with "2006 Parkening International Guitar Competition" while "Broken (2006/I)" comes up with the correct title. Could the scraper be ignoring the /I? In a sense. It's changing the "/" to a ":" when it adds it to the file view. Then does the scrapping with the name it changed instead of the folder/file name. BUG ? - elan - 2008-04-15 Please file a bug on this. Thanks, -elan |
