RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - Fevid - 2022-08-07

Is  there any way to make the seek bar disappear completely when a video is paused? From what i am experience it closes the osd but the seek bar is always on.

Hello Jurialmunkey ,

First of all , this skin is amazing. Thanks for all the great work you put in there.

But i have one question.

Can I somehow make the background overlay a little less dark?
I use : Poster View. The full screen widget on the homepage works fine ,
but when i'm going to Poster View , i would like to see more of the fanart background , and a little less dark overlay.

I hope you understand what i mean.

Yes please - pause with just the video, nothing else

@jurialmunkey  Regarding TMDb and its integration with this skin...
the TMDb plugins "crop" directory (located in the userdata area) fills up with image files (some quite large) really quickly. Because I have the skin installed on a couple of smaller 8gb android sticks/boxes, I have to manually purge that directory fairly regularly. Bi-weekly at least.

Is this going to be a regularity using this skin? Or perhaps there is a skin or plugin setting that would manage this issue. Please instruct.
Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide.

You can disable the clearlogo setting and just use normal text for the title. TMDbHelper will only crop when the setting to use the logo as the title is active.

Also, really they don't take that much space. Each logo is normally somewhere between 20kb and 200kb. I have a folder of around 1000 cropped logos and that's only ~100mb. They have to be saved somewhere and if you're at the point where 100mb is causing massive issues then you'll have constant issues with Kodi's caching of textures in general so you should reduce your usage of images as much as possible.

Could it be that the submenu widget doesn't work anymore? I'm on v0.3.13

RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - TheFather999 - 2022-08-08

@jurialmunkey
Thanks for the suggestion. Appreciate the assistance.

Yes I'm setting up a new box and it's not working.

RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - Nekromantik - 2022-08-09

@jurialmunkey The Nexus fix was merged but still getting issue on home menu widgets where it keeps saying loading and when you go to TV for example where widget has loaded fine and you press down to go to recently added, it scrolls too far down and the cursor is right at the top of the screen where you cant see it. I will post picture or video tomorrow so you can see it better.

RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - Meleno - 2022-08-09

Hi there Jurialmunkey

I love your arctic horizon skins, really clean and intuitively constructed.

As a total noob when it comes to setting up these things: Is it possible to install the alpha for horizon 2 to a shield via directory / repository? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use your repository links on the official download page or integrate them in the file browser on the shield. The directory I found elsewhere is outdated (Version:0.3.14) and does not support all necessary files.

Would really appreciate your help.
Cheers!
