RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - nuwonda - 2022-09-19

makes sense. trakt addon is working fine, just wasn't sure. keep up the good work!

on another note, sometimes when I come back after a prolonged time to wake up KODI the skin doesn't load properly and stays all grey, the menu to the right opens up all blank too if I go there. known issue? I usually have to reboot via the web interface, when I tried to switch skin via webinterface (to estuary) and then back it said, files were missing and Arctic Horizon 2 then was no longer on the installed skin list. I reinstalled now via the repository. I am running LibreElec (10.0.2) on an rpi4 with usb drive attached, fresh install with just default skin and this skin and only plugins/dependencies the skin installed. Maybe need a debug log?

RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - Sjors125 - 2022-09-19

I've downloaded the 3 add-ons mentioned in the opening post and installed them from zip in exact that order.
Then I downloaded the skin and tried to install it from zip.
I got the message that it is missing a dependency and therefor can't install.
What am I doing wrong?

Edit:

It seems like the skinvariables.zip has a problem installing and themoviedbhelper.zip won't do anything at all. Both are the latest github versions.

Check post #1292. I asked jurialmunkey to edit the first post because some users including me had this problem.

The log will tell you what dependency you're missing.

The bigger question is why you're installing from zip at all? Everything is on my repo - just install the repo and then the skin from there and it will handle the dependencies for you.

RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - ycodryn - 2022-09-20

Speaking for myself, I'm using zips because I don't use internet on my player, only local lan. And the problems we have is from https://github.com/jurialmunkey/script.module.tmdbhelper/releases. Without this you can't install the skin. It was a easy find for me but for others this might be a problem not knowing that is a required dependency.

RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - nuwonda - 2022-09-20

@jurialmunkey

would it be at all possible to move the "title" up top if section title is switched off and thus gain space for plot, extra info? Or not feasible?

RE: Arctic Horizon 2 - hostile17 - 2022-09-20

I have been away from the skin for a few weeks.
Are you still going to include the option of having background pic on the home screen?

No because that is where the menu bar goes on the home screen...

If the feature is listed in issues on github and is assigned a milestone then it will be added - so yes...

It says you added it to the Furniture Milestone June 22nd

That's not the ETA, that date is when I added the issue to the milestone.

I don't give ETAs. Things are done when they're done.

Running like a dream. Thanks mate. Finally moved my build across to the new skin.

Because I thought I could chose between install from zip and install from repo and had to do those 3 files first (not a native English speaker, so I might've understood it wrongly)

What does the tvguide content view do (for home menu widget content)? I've tried changing a few widgets to that view and don't notice any difference.
