Simple USB IR receiver for MAC MINI 2018 - mjnman - 2023-07-03

Hi,
i would like to renew my MCE. I'm using a mac mini late 2012 but the performance with kodi nexus seems to be got worse. I'm thinking to buy a used mac mini late 2018 with I5. In that mac model missing the ir reciver and my remote is a logitec harmony.
Can anyone advise me a good and small USB IR receiver with linux support? I would like to use lirc  Nerd

As others have posted - the FLIRC is a good solution (though I don't think it needs you to use lirc)
