Hi, good morning,
I am from Hanover, Germany and i'm a new user.
I downloaded the Joyn app via the Kodinerds repo https://repo.kodinerds.net/. Now the playback requires the widevine package. I get this typical message. "To play the widevine..." or something like that, I click on -> Install and now it rattles and rattles and nothing happens, this Kodi loading gear turns and turns. I know that from "older" Kodi versions that there are still windows, here is only the loading gear.

did you try the inputstream helper addon?

In the end it was easy.
Under Program Addons -> InputStream Helper I was able to install widewine without any problems.
