Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) change causes issue with xbmc install due to libbluetooth - dead2sin - 2008-10-20
Intrepid now uses libbluetooth3, so when you go to install xbmc via synaptic, it says that it cannot install because it requires libbluetooth2 as a dependency.
It seems that you cannot use the hardy repo to install xbmc on ubuntu anymore
