mcage Wrote:Must add to that that the original mediastream 1.0 Lite mod worked on my Xbox but that all later ' better' versions fail misserably. Unfortunately the old 1.0 version I can no longer find anywhere Sad
So it might be that the user searched but just all solutions provided don't work for him (lik for me)
I will be rebuilding Mediastream 1.0 Lite in the next week or two and hopefully it will run even better than before i am also going to try to add flag support to it.
I will update the relevant forum once it's done and as far as i know it does support mouse control?Smile
Ps there are still two of my old skins in the first link in my signature if that's any help

Yes, tried those but still no luck.. still half the videos refuse to play because of memory.
Will wait the new 'old' v1 Wink

It's really too bad XBMC can't throw an error instead of silently failing.

I hope this comes soon, PM3 is ugly, because the original Xbox interface was ugly. I hope that someday people stop trying to be Microsoft.

Make sure that you are running the latest build of XBMC .. released on a few days ago and use Paul's MOD as it runs no problems at all. One thing to be sure is to turn off fanart if possible. Either that or manually optimise your fanart images as they will cause memory issues.

I'm using the latest XBMC and MediaStream versions.

Like Pstftrnt, I also use a mouse only for navigation. I see a mouse cursor, and it seems to work in the MediaStream config interface, but not in the actual main interface.

The mouse cursor can be seen, but clicking right/left/dbl click doesn't have any effect. The scroll wheel also works...

paul mentioned that it should work? Is something wrong at my end, or does MediaStream not support mouse navigation/control?

It's not going to work well, if at all, correct.

Is there any progress on mediastream? Is this an (un)official version what we can expect

Thats actually a very early copy of my personal version and wasn't really meant to be visible outside of team xbmc (for reasons I don't want to put claim to mediastream) anyway some of the team didn't really get the "Internal version" only message and accidently started making videos and posting screenshots of it Smile

But anyway after talking with team razorfish (skunk and JustmeD) I have decided that when I'm ready I will make it public but I will not be hyping it up or anything it will simply be released as a MS mod when I'm finished. So don't expect any info or screenshots or anything like that before its even out (aside from what the team accidently leak)

Este skin ya no se aztualiza, no hay nuevas versiones?

Alright, I don't want to hype anything, I only wish me any progress on this nice skin Smile

Yep I know but I don't really like the MiniMedia skin, it is to minimalistic for my flavour.

Don't know if this was already reported, if so...sory

I'm using latest official mediastream release with 9.04 release of XBMC. I know that they may have some problems.

The problem is that when you add movies to scan, it shows the progress window, it shows the title of the movie, but it doesn't show the progress bar of the total progress of scanned items. Is this still an issue? can anybody try that?

Thanks in advance

skunkm0nkee said that he is going to work on mediastream again. Check http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=365343&postcount=111

Download links are messed up on the Razorfish website.
