..and the XBOX ain't dead, it isn't the number one priority anymore, thats all.
Lots of people, this includes me, continue to use the XBOX for SD playback, on other rooms of the house.

I've actually been moving away from using the Xbox primarily because I was beginning to forget which content was and was not SD. As I understand it, thanks to the work of djh, capnbry, and others (Movie Info Plus guy included... I forget the name... fekker maybe?), it may be that I won't be dealing with that anymore, thereby bringing my xbox back out of retirement for like the 5th time.

I am pretty sure a lite version will appear as well. also, Wir3d, thank you and Team Razorfish for making MediaStream as xbox friendly as you possible could. You all pushed the envelope as to what a skin could be for the original xbox. I salute you all for it...

Anyone else feel like we aren't getting a look at all of the features? I have a feeling djh has a couple tricks up his sleeve

-On the RSS home screen panel the text cuts out earlier then the end of the panel and at a straight angle instead of the slight angle it ends on.
-On the showcase view, the perspective view of the non selected movies leaves hard lines on the border, this might just be a result of the scaled screenshot though.
Besides that from what I see everything looks very sharp, I love the new home screen scroller and showcase views, the wall view is another nice surprise. The minimal frames are a great match for the theme as well.

Dev's should be ahead of the game
But the xbox still is the most used platform for the regular user (according to the poll's I've seen). So hoping for xbox capability (and PAL/NTSC) support is the least we can do....

Actually, if you are referring to this poll : http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=41845 then Xbox is behind if you add up the non-Xbox platforms (and in my opinion, that is valid to do).
Anyhow, that is offtopic, but the poll does show that more people are now using non-Xbox platforms.

not to mention the fact that Plex users are probably well underrepresented in that poll... There are plenty of Plex users, and even though Plex itself has now gone independent of the XBMC project, Plex still relies upon xbmc skins...
I'm sure there is always going to be the guy who will be willing to downsize all of the textures... so no one should worry... But to implore djH to slim down his vision of the skin, is unnecessary.

However i have a question about the Wall View.
As far as I can see, you move to the right or to the left to see new movies, however by this way you can only see 3 new movies per key stroke. Wouldn't be better to move vertically? So you see 9 new movies per key stroke.
Also, maybe because it's beta, you don't see the correct fanart in any of the screenshots. I mean, for example, in the coverflow view the selected movie is "shoot'em up" but the fanart is "casino royal".
