Plugins for Windows - marathonman - 2009-04-01 Hello everyone. I am not a computer newbee but I am new to XBMC. I seem to be able to find many plugins for XBox but not windows. Am I correct to assume that when I do find some plugins all I have to do is put it (or them) into the video directory in the XBMC directory. Or am I oversimplifying this? I have searched and read. It seems lie it should be easier, at least from what I have read. I have also installed Python just in case. Any help or pointing in the right direction will be helpful. Thanks. P.S. Basically the first plug-in I want is something for video streaming such as Veoh or the like. Up to now I have just been using a browser on a PC hooked up to my TV. - rwparris2 - 2009-04-01 Welcome Here is some reading material for you: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=HOW-TO_install_and_use_plugins_in_XBMC http://theendofthelongestline.de/xbox/about-plugins/index.php A plugins & scripts installer, to make finding & installing things easier: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=159135&postcount=1 Also the online manual & the forum search button are great resources: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=XBMC_Online_Manual http://forum.xbmc.org/search.php Unless specifically noted, all plugins and scripts should work on all platforms (xbox, windows, linux, osx, atv).
